Sweet & Tart Cherries...
Sweet Cherries. Delicious early summer eating! Two different varieties are needed for pollination unless marked self-fertile. All are grafted on a size controlled Krymsk rootstock (60%-75% standard size).
Tart Cherries. Grower friendly tree habits and consistent production make tart cherries a good option. The fruit is often used for pies and desserts, and canning or freezing. The Hungarian types are ideal also for fresh eating when fully ripe. All tart cherries are self-fertile.
